Denver's NBC 9 News is reporting that legendary country musician Willie Nelson has been hospitalized after "suffering from breathing problems due to the high altitude and emphysema."
According to the station, Nelson's bandmates became worried when the singer was a no-show for the Lulu's Barkin BBQ fundraiser he was scheduled to play on August 18.
His concert promoters, AEG, have offered no comment.
