Watch Stephanie Bradley shred on the “completely mind-blowing” ESP LTD EC-1000 Gold Andromeda guitar
New mid-priced model boasts Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers, stainless steel frets and a stunning light-reflective finish
ESP unleashed a slew of insanely impressive guitars for 2021, and at the top of the list of must-haves is the new LTD EC-1000 Gold Andromeda.
The new model, which boasts an incredible iridescent finish, truly has to be seen to be believed. So we couldn’t wait to get one in the hands of up-and-coming shredder Stephanie Bradley, who was only too happy to take the axe for a spin.
“I’m a huge fan of the EC-1000 series,” she says in the accompanying video, “so I’m excited to be the first ESP artist to check out this awesome Eclipse.”
For those new to the LTD Deluxe EC-1000 series, the range is specifically designed to offer the tone, feel and quality that professional musicians require, while remaining affordable enough for serious players of all levels.
True to form, the LTD Deluxe EC-1000 Gold Andromeda boast first-rate specs, including a mahogany body, three-piece thin-U shaped mahogany set-thru neck and Macassar ebony fingerboard with 24 extra jumbo stainless steel frets and a 350 mm radius.
Other features include LTD locking tuners, a TonePros locking bridge and tailpiece and gold hardware.
Pickups, meanwhile, are a set of Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers (alnico at the neck and ceramic at the bridge), with separate volume knobs and a push-pull voicing option on the tone control.
And then, of course, there’s that “completely mind-blowing iridescent finish, which emits different hues as light is reflected from different angles,” Stephanie explains.
“You can see as I move the guitar around the colors change, and it looks amazing,” she continues. “It’s a truly unique finish that would especially look great during a live performance with stage lights hitting it.”
It’s a beautiful instrument, to be sure, “but the feel and tone of this guitar make it so fun and easy to play,” Stephanie says.
“If you’re looking for a guitar that looks captivating live or on video, plays like a dream and sounds incredible, the EC-1000 Gold Andromeda is the guitar for you.”
