Testament Tour Dates Announced
Testament have announced upcoming tour dates for 2008. The band will be touring to support their April 29 release of The Formation of Damnation. The album marks Testament’s Nuclear Blast debut, and it is the first new studio album from the band since 1999’s landmark “The Gathering.”
The Formation of Damnation features the classic lineup of Chuck Billy on vocals, Eric Peterson and Alex Skolnick on guitar, and Greg Christian on bass, plus the venerable Paul Bostaph (Slayer, Testament, Forbidden) on drums. Production is being handled by Andy Sneap (Megadeth, Trivium, Chimaira).
Testament has also re-issued two classic albums, 1997’s Demonic and 1999’s The Gathering through Prosthetic Records. Both are available now. Prosthetic will also be re-issuing 2001’s First Strike Still Deadly in March with new art.
