Steve Vai Offers Fans Meet and Greet
Buyers who pre-order Steve Vai’s new album, Sound Theories Vol. I & II, could win a chance to meet the virtuoso guitarist on his upcoming concert tour.
Vai is currently offering a limited-edition deluxe Digipak version of the record that includes extra photos and a full-color booklet. Only 10,000 copies of the deluxe edition will be available, to be sold exclusively through vai.com.
Of these, 2,500 discs will contain a satin pass admitting the bearer into any of Vai’s after-show meet-and-greets on his Sound Theories tour. The discs will be randomly distributed among buyers who preorder the album. The after-show pass is not valid without a concert ticket, and pass holders must purchase their own ticket to the show.
