Original Master of Puppets Artwork Up for Auction
The original artwork for the cover of Metallica's classic 1986 album Master of Puppets, painted by artist Don Brautigam, is scheduled to be auctioned at Christie's auction house at Rockefeller Plaza, New York, NY, on November 24.
The framed, 17x17 inch piece is signed on the lower right of the painting DB.
The estimate sale price is set between $20,000 and $30,000.
The auction is part of the Punk/Rock sale, which includes memorbilia from artists including Lou Reed, The Ramones, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix and more.
