Find the PRS that's just right for you with the company’s new one-minute guitar quiz
You’re just 60 seconds away from the perfect PRS pairing
PRS Guitars has one of the most varied and vast electric guitar ranges on offer – which means that, whatever your preferences or needs, there’s likely a PRS that is perfect for you. But given the amount of designs and styles available, it can also be a challenge to figure out just what this particular guitar is.
That is, until now. To assist players in finding the perfect six-string, PRS has designed a quiz that, in under a minute, will help guide you toward your desired specs. From there, you can easily home in on your perfect PRS model.
The quiz not only makes it simple for longtime PRS players to weave through the brand's many selections, but also serves to introduce new users to the wonders of PRS design and construction.
As far as getting started, here’s a hint: PRS electrics are generally broken down by Series (think Core, S2 and SE), but models can also be thought of as belonging to different “families.”
Instead of trying to figure out which of the company’s 50+ models you should choose out, determine which one of the seven “families” you should be looking through. This will help whittle your choices down to five or ten designs, rather than selecting from the full range.
For example, if you like maple tops, 24 frets and a trem? Trying looking at a guitar in the Custom family, rather than, say, a McCarty model.
Want vintage vibe, 22 frets and a fixed bridge? Then a McCarty is definitely in your wheelhouse.
To find the PRS electric that is just right for you, take a minute – literally – and try out the new PRS guitar quiz.
