Children of Bodom Announce New Album and Tour Dates
Finnish metal act Children of Bodom have completed work on their new album, Blooddrunk, which will be released on April 15, 2008 via Spinefarm / Fontana International.
The follow-up to the band's acclaimed 2005 release, Are You Dead Yet?, Blooddrunk is already a heavier, darker take on Children of Bodom's mix of modern thrash metal, melodic hooks and the guitar acrobatics of front man and rising metal guitar hero Alexi Laiho.
The final track listing for Children of Bodom's Blooddrunk is as follows:
1.) Hellhounds on My Trail
2.) Blooddrunk
3.) Lobodomy
4.) One Day You Will Cry
5.) Smile Pretty for the Devil
6.) Tie My Rope
7.) Done with Everything, Die for Nothing
8.) Banned from Heaven
9.) Roadkill Morning
In support of Blooddrunk, Children of Bodom will tour North America as one of the featured acts of Gigantour 2008. COB have been handpicked by Dave Mustaine to be a part of the 29 city trek, and will hit the road alongside Megadeth, In Flames, Job For A Cowboy and High on Fire beginning April 12 in Denver, CO.
In addition to Laiho, Children of Bodom features Roope Latvala (guitar), Janne Warman (keyboard), Henkka Seppala (bass) and drummer Jaska Raatikainen.
