The Sweetwater Cyber Monday deals may be officially over, but Sweetwater have seen fit to extend their sale until December 8 with savings of up to 70% off guitar gear. We won't sugarcoat it, a lot of deals have returned to full price or sold out, but if you're late to the party not all is lost.
One of my favorite deals that's still live doesn't come with a huge monetary discount but for me, it's undoubtedly the most useful for guitarists. You can buy 5 packs of Ernie Ball strings for just $19.95 in the sale. It includes lots of different gauges as well as acoustic guitar strings so will cover a lot of guitar players for a good while into the new year.
If you're after a beginner-friendly guitar then the Sterling by Music Man Cutlass has got a huge $150 reduction at the moment. Although not as popular as the Squier Strat, it comes in a bunch of cool colors and offers that perfect balance of build quality and budget-friendliness that make it perfect for new players.
We're not sure how long these deals will be around for so if you've got your eye on something, now's the time to pull the trigger. Below you'll find links to the sale sorted by category, as well as a selection of handpicked deals from the team here at Guitar World.

At just $99, the Pigtronix Constellator is a brilliant deal at Sweetwater thanks to a huge $80 reduction in their Beat the Holiday Rush sale. Neural DSP's Quad Cortex is still held up as one of the market's gold standard multi-effects modelers. Now, you can snap it up with a gig case worth $120 – perfect for gigging guitarists – and a free Eminence IR pack, which will help make those ampless signal chains sound even better.

The Peavey Classic 20 is one of the best value tube amps on the market, but the latest iteration packs in a ton of connectivity and handy features like power attenuation and USB/XLR outputs. Now you can scoop it up over at Sweetwater – and shave $100 off the usual price.
A great amp for vintage-style guitar tones, the British-made Victory Amps The Deputy is the signature model of Peter 'Danish Pete' Honore of Andertons YouTube channel fame. It's got a massive $220 discount at the moment, making it a great option for a tube head that delivers a highly responsive and dynamic tone.
If you're looking for a small tube amp this Black Friday, we'd go for the Supro Delta King 12. Not only does it look incredible, but it takes pedals brilliantly. It's got a great clean sound but if you crank the volume it'll break up beautifully. With a tasty $100 discount in the Sweetwater sale, it's a great opportunity to pick up a tube amp for a lot less.
Sweetwater Boss Katana sale: Save up to $150
Sweetwater is getting ahead of the game with their CYber Monday sale. You can save up to $150 on select amps in the Katana range, including slightly smaller savings on the new Gen 3 models. With money off amplifiers for both guitarists and bassists, there hasn’t been a better time to snag a bargain on the world’s best-selling amplifier range. Stock will likely be limited and we don’t see these prices sticking around for long.

🛒 Sweetwater Cyber Monday deals: How to prepare
Got your eye on a few things and wondering whether Cyber Monday is the time to buy? Here's a few tips from our personal experience that will ensure you're ready to strike if the gear you want is up for grabs:
1. Create a wishlist early - The most sensible way to take advantage of this year's Cyber Monday music deals is to know in advance what you’re looking for. This will make searching much easier, rather than having to trawl through loads of deals you don’t want to find the ones you do, or pondering things you don't need. To help you create your dream shopping list, take the time to explore our expert and up-to-date buying guides and reviews.
2. Work out what you actually need - Check out your favourite brands, see what you need and will genuinely use - don’t waste your cash and fill your basket with stuff that will never truly see any action.
3. Consider your music goals - What do you want to achieve with your music over the next 12 months or so? Do you want to gig more? Learn a new instrument? Or finally, record your songs? Now could be the time to invest in gear that helps you fulfil your musical aspirations.
4. Streamline your current gear - Something else you should consider ahead of time is whether you have enough space in your collection for new gear. Could you offload some gear you don't use to make room and generate funds for some new gear?
5. Sign up to mailing lists - In addition to bookmarking this page, we'd recommend signing up to mailing lists of your favourite retailers now to get the jump on the best deals when they do come around.
🧐 How we choose deals
Here at Guitar World, we are experts in our field, with many years of playing and product testing between us. We live and breathe everything guitar-related, and we draw on this knowledge and experience of using products in live, recording and rehearsal scenarios when selecting the products we recommend.
First and foremost, we are guitarists, and we want to match other players with the right products for them, at the best prices.
For us to recommend a deal it has to be a product we rate that’s a genuinely great price or part of a truly fantastic bundle. It’s also important that we only recommend retailers where you will have a positive shopping experience.
🤔 Why you can trust our choices
We spend a lot of our time scouring guitar retailers for fantastic deals on our favorite gear. Not only is it our job to research and recommend the best gear in our buyer’s guides, but we’re also dedicated to helping players get the best deals for the gear they need, too. After all, the only thing better than new gear day is a hearty discount.
We cover a lot of the big sales events throughout the year, including Memorial Day, Black Friday, 4th of July sales and Amazon Prime Day, and we have a good view on which products are likely to receive the biggest discounts and when, the prices they’ve been in the past and which deals are genuinely worth a look.
