Inspired by the passing of blues legend Hubert Sumlin on December 4, we here at Guitar World searched through our video archives and found this four-minute blues guitar lesson that Sumlin filmed at our NYC office several years ago.

As Sumlin says in the video, "This is what I do, man."

Enjoy this rare glimpse into the technique of someone who was a direct link to Howlin' Wolf and Muddy Waters.
